It's not untrue to say that human beings are social animals. 16+ hopes to provide fellowship as well as social and evangelistic activities for anyone in the age range (about) 16-30. We do this in conjunction with young people from Hounslow West Evangelical Church.
Our aims include:
- Providing fellowship for existing Christians
- Reaching people of a similar age with the gospel
- Ordinary socialising
- Being visible to newcomers to the church
To meet these aims, we meet monthly after the Sunday evening service in somebody's home. We also hope to meet about once a month for informal 'social' purposes (going to see a film, for a walk, for a meal, bowling, etc, etc...).
Typically, the Sunday evening meetings consist of a short talk, whose title is advertised in advance, followed by discussion. The discussion is an important part of the meeting - we don't want yet another sermon...

- Practical issues in the Christian life
- History/biography
- Pastor & elders question time
